Did you test it and it failed? I added in 'as alias' everywhere I
could find. I didn't bother with a third set of parenthesis because
I didn't think it was necessary. If the script still fails I will re-
write it using code that works. I personally cannot replicate the
problem on my machine so I'm relying on your input.

"as alias" has to go inside the last parens wherever it appears in
the script.
