There are two 'content' properties in 'outgoing message' for Mail 2.0.2:

properties
content (string) : The contents of the message
sender (string) : The sender of the message
subject (string) : The subject of the message
content (string) : The contents of the message

I suspect one of these 'string's will accept text attachments, but I'm not sure which one. ;-)
