That's the original case minus the inside grey steel shell. I did drill 4
holes in it to insert the stainless steel rods to hold the core up. This was
necessary because without the steel shell the latch mechanism is missing.
Additionally, airflow is vastly increased and in the convective Cube this is
very important. One wonders why the steel shell was put in there to begin
with...

It's possible that as terrorism increases Plexiglas (Perspex in Europe) and
in fact all polycarbonates are more more in demand.
