Intro from newbie [TAN]

G'day from Oz,

I'm a Mac admin for a design studio in Sydney and have been dabbling in a
little AppleScript recently. After bashing my head senselessly against the
keyboard in trying to learn AS I thought I'd better join a list and glean
from the greats.

Before I fire off any questions to the list, what is the climate in here?

Will I get shot down in flames for asking what might be basic questions to
you? Is there a reasonable tolerance?

I have pretty thick skin but I don't like to upset the culture, either.

Anyway, just thought I'd say Hi before I put my hand up.

Cheers,

Cojcolds

ps. there seems to be a reasonable amount of daily traffic on this list.
Is it possible to have a list indicator in the subject of the emails like
other lists I'm a member of, eg. "[AppleScript] Subject..."? It'd make
sorting through all the morning emails a lot easier. Just a thought. 8-)
