The uppercases where my own typos.

Funny detail,
if display dialog month of foo really displays "oct" (without the quotes).


display dialog (month of foo) as text displays "October" (without the quotes).

Here is perhaps the asked switch.

Use the month as is -> the short string
Coerce it as text -> the long string
