I'd tend to doubt that, since I've never seen a discontiunity between
~/.Trash and the Trash on the Dock. It can't be for network shares, since
dragging anything to the trash from a network share deletes it immediately.
It MAY be for multiple partitions, but in that case:
1) Why wouldn't it work when I have only one volume mounted
2) If it doesn't work at all, then don't allow it. Throw a real error that
says "Operation not allowed" instead of "Missing Value". It's not "missing"
the value, it's not letting you see it.
3) Even if it IS an amalgamation, getting the size of a bunch of items in
multiple locations is.not.rocket.science. This is a silly bug, and shall be
reported as such
