MicrosoftWord ... bounds of window broken with Office 2004?

  • Subject: MicrosoftWord ... bounds of window broken with Office 2004?

I upgraded from Office X to Office 2004 a little while ago. Certainly it fixed some of the old bugs, and replaced it by some new ones.

It appears to me that "bounds of window" is all messed up, particularly if you move a window a significant distance on the screen. Even small distances indicate that Word is confused about where the text is. It shows it correctly, but clicking on a line shows that internally it thinks it is somewhere else.

Moving larger distances results in part of the window being frozen, even the whole window. You have to close the window and reopen it to be able to do anything.

If anyone has any workarounds or knows how to fix this in anyway, I'd appreciate it.
