Do you really and truly want the formula - is there really a formula?
Sometimes people used 'Formula' when all they wanted was the actual
content
of a cell. If that's what you want, do
set x to value of selection
That will work even if you select many cells - you'll get a list of
lists of
values, which could be text, numbers, dates. (The inner lists
represent the
row(s).)

Yes, you're right. I never seen the difference between "formula" and
"value" because my tables (in excel) have only numbers or text, never
formulas.
