Thanks Mark. Because 1904 January 01 day 0 is zone GMT the
clipboardICAS applescript can reference Julian Dates, Modified Julian
dates, and New Calendar Day Notation date and time stamps with
reference to a zone UT.
Yet the code for version 1.01 depends on hard-coded NDN constants.
(in addition to the hard-coded geographical information for the
zoneDeka system of 20 zones).
However version 1.01 now reads the local zodiac time zone directly
from the computer: e.g., PDT, PST, etc. The seasonal time zone
changes no longer require more than one clipboardICAS applescript.
To avoid posting a long message here, the code update for
clipboardICAS-1.01 is posted to the aaticas forum on yahoogroups
(code is distributed free of charge under 'ICAS in use', yet you need
to register with yahoogroups to access the forum.)
Best,
Ron
