I am trying to mount a volume on a remote computer. The user I am trying to
log in as has no password. I need access to a folder in the users home
folder. Putting it in the Public folder is not an option.
Here are my attempts:
This only allows Guest access to the Public share, i.e., the drop box
mount volume "afp://;AUTH=No%User%Authent@server/share"
This only allows Guest access to the Public share, i.e., the drop box
mount volume "afp://10.1.1.86/user/"
This brings up the authenticate dialog box
mount volume "afp://username: @10.1.1.86/user/"
This brings up the authenticate dialog box
mount volume afp://000.000.0.00/sharename as user name "foo"
This brings up the authenticate dialog box
mount volume afp://000.000.0.00/sharename as user name "foo" with password
""
This brings up the authenticate dialog box
mount volume afp://000.000.0.00/sharename as user name "foo" with password
no
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanx
Tod
