As far as I know, Quicktime always plays on the monitor on which the mouse cursor is located when the file is opened (non full-screen) or play is initiated (full-screen).

Hello

I'm building a simple app that plays fullscreen quicktimes and i want
them to play on a second monitor
I've tried

         tell application "QuickTime Player"
             tell movie "presentation.mov"
                 present scale screen display 2
             end tell
         end tell

It works fine on the main monitor but I can't get it to go to monitor 2.

Cheers
Rhian
