That's a clever use of the run level, but you may have a game of musical chairs with the run level task if you already have it set to do something else. For instance, I often tell my droplets to ask for an item that might have been dropped if they were launched at run level. Example:
Good point. Maybe a good compromise would be to test for some key being held down, for instance set it up such that that ctrl-clicking on a droplet opens it for editing.
