We have a script app that is making calls every 5-10 seconds to FileMaker, setting various cells and checking the status of certain processes. This App has run flawlessly under 10.2 and 10.3. Now under 10.4.2 we have developed a memory leak where memory use just grows and grows until it “unexpectedly quits.” We determined this by monitoring the memory usage through TOP and see where it is growing. Filemaker itself is unaffected. Only the script is having this issue. We are slowly isolating each call to see a culprit (We’ve already eliminated any calls that activate FMP Scripts). We think setting a variable is being reset but its previous values are not being dumped. Anybody experience unusual crashes with script apps under 10.4? Anybody know of memory leaks specific to 10.4?
