| This may sound like a really stupid question to alot of you out there but I'm really new at this. I've only been scripting for... 5-6 weeks now.
If I set a variable in a script when the script ends will the variable's value remain stored somewhere for a script that is run later to use. Is this the default behavior or do I have to save the variable's value in a file somewhere?
The sort of variable i want to store is a Path to a folder. ie set auftragFolder to choose folder with prompt "select Auftrag folder"
I want to keep the variable to use in a following script to be run by the user.
Also i haven't found a command to prompt for text input from the user in a dialog box.
