That really has nothing to do with the implementation of "delay", and everything to do with how the script runner was implemented. If the runner already allowed running more than one script at once, then it still will; if it didn't, it still won't.


You should also be aware that the "delay" fix introduced a new problem (4325124), which causes errors when you try to use "delay" in combination with an idle handler. A workaround (aside from removing the "delay") is to say 'run script "delay ..."' instead.
