Connection Error -- What is this????

What is a connection error and how do I avoid them. I was running an Applescript that was being shut down by the screen saver coming up so I wrote a co-program to run  use GUI scripting to send a keystroke that should not be recognized comma with command, control, and apple all down, so that the machine would think it was being used.

One thing I learned was that if you run a stay open routine from a script, you have to ignore application responses, since the stayopen routine does not return.  Even if the run handler does.
