Could you describe the commands you issued that caused Toast to mess things up? What was Toast doing at the time?

thx,
Eric

Right from the horse’s mouth:
Toast 7 dictionnary: busy (boolean, r/o) : currently busy recording a disc? (obsolete, use disc’s status code instead)

I would try either of the following:
status text (Unicode text, r/o) : Toast’s current status as shown in the progress bar.
status code (integer, r/o) : Toast’s current status code: 0 for idle and no error, 1 to 100 for “percent complete”, 101 for “indeterminate”, or a negative value for error codes.

It errors out if nothing’s happening.

My little piece of info is that I have found that when running (accidentally) some Toast scripting while it runs tends to mess things up quite a bit; Toast accepts to be scripted (just creating archives and saving them in my case) while the burn process is ongoing. Rather weird.

HTH
