Just to be clear: an app can still have its own script menu as well
as the
system-wide one in Tiger. Quite a few do (iTunes, Entourage,
BBEdit, etc.)
You sure about iTunes? I can't find a way to do it on my system.
Applications can special case their own script menus; Appleworks 6
does it, for example (but its icon is white, not black). However,
they don't do it as it was in Panther where it was automatic--that
script menu (e.g., mail.app) appears as a folder in the global
Applescript menu in Tiger.
