Vidarebefordrat brev:

8 feb 2006 kl. 01.05 skrev Stockly, Ed:

do shell script "ftp -R -u " & myUserid & " -p " & myPassword & " " & myServer & " " & myRemotePath & myFile
What I'm hoping for is a solid, stable command that will allow me to trap errors.

Any suggestions? Anything to lookout for?

This is why expect was written.
To automate interactive shell program sessions,
and to act in different ways, depending on answer from the other side.

I think I got Malcom Fitzgerald to try it, so if he is still around,
he might tell you about his adventures in learning TCL (on which expect is build upon)
