Thanks. I'm not keen on the system wide scripts menu with all submenus etc. It's too much for the users. I'll stick with the palette, thanks.

Now, if I have a large script that does a lot of work, I've found the fastest environment is to run save the script as a droplet and open the document without showing. That's fast.

Yea, but you know what? I'm finding that reading the XMP info directly from a script is faster than pulling it through InDesign, plus you get more info!
