That's back to the shorter way, which is fine as AS goes. My
objection was to the violation of English grammar. It looks like
you're counting "texts", which is fine if you're talking about
individual historical documents, for instance, but not when you're
talking about the text of a string.
It's a spurious pedantry at best, admittedly. Side effect of the
English-ish syntax, is all.
