Then making stay-open and background-only applications will as simple as clicking a button. Messing with plist and resource files is easy, since they are stored external to the final application.


2. This morning, I was trying to get one scripted application to quit another scripted application while it was displaying a dialog. Doesn't work. But, on first reading, maybe there are some hints in your examples below. I will read in detail later.

What I need to do is something like my previous posting where the main application calls another application in its /Contents/Resources/ folder. This second application displays a dialog until the main application tells it to quit. One problem: the user should not be able to manually click a button in the dialog and this may not be possible.
