Good news/bad news?

 Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded the systems on two of our Macs to 10.4 from earlier systems (maybe 10.2.8) and I noticed a couple things.

First, running Hypercard in classic is improved. (Yes, I still use Hypercard, I've looked but haven't found anything better, faster, stronger) In previous incarnations of Hypercard in classic the window size was restricted to the standard size which was pretty inconvenient. In 10.4.4 the window size seems fully scaleable. OK, that's the good news.

The bad news is that scripts that I had written in 10.4 and saved as applications and which could be run from either classic or OSX have become compiled scripts in classic. That's bad because we still rely on a few Mac OS 9 applications that may never be ported to OSX (like Hypercard) or whose OSX versions don't work as well as the OS 9 versions (like Quark).

Is it still possible to save a script that will work as an applet or a droplet in OSX 10.4.4, Classic and Mac OS9?

Ed
