Radar requires more information than just "It's sick" or "it's not working
the way I want it too". Quite often, there's a lot of communcation between
you and the person looking at the bug so they can define it better.
It's simply not possible to provide that kind of service to millions of
random people. So for that you get feedback@<whatever>.apple.com, and you'll
never really see an answer.
If that's okay for you, great, you already have an answer. If you want more
service, in this case, the 'cost' is your time and effort.
