Emmanuel,

if your mac.com addresses are simple ones, that can easily be put together by using common names and characters, then they have most likely been generated by a guessing automat - grazing homepages and address lists for eMail addresses is not the only option for spammers to find out valid ones.

That's one of the reasons that I use a more complicated eMail account name for purposes where I want to keep undisturbed by spam and simply communicate.
