Does anyone know if it is possible to use AppleScript to update a QuarkXpress image, but leave the image status as "modified" instead of

QuarkXPress remembers the modification date of an image. If the modification date of the image becomes newer than the remembered modification date, then the state of the image is modified.

XPress' modification date and modified properties are read only.

In my opinion you have to change the modification date of the image
