Needs to be this line:
on perform mail action with messages theMessages for rule TheRule
-- or whatever variable name you want, even if you don't use the
variable anywhere else in the script.
I know that "for rule" is listed as being optional, but I think
that you need either it or "in mailboxes" or both.
