Smile 3.1 (currently 3.1.7) and its companion osax, Satimage.osax,
XMLLib.osax, and Numerics.osax, work natively both on PPC and on
Intel machines. They are Universal Binaries.
Slightly off-topic but not completely, our performance benchmarks
often prove Smile and/or AppleScript faster or much faster on Intel
than on PPC.

Actually I don't think thats off topic at all, I've really being
following this conversation because I'm now thinking about upgrading
my 1.67hz, 2 GB RAM 15' PowerBook. Mainly because I want to start
using testing my scripts.. I don't really know enough to know what
is going to be affected.
[OT] My main concern is the next release of Adobe CS.. and what that
is going to do to my scripts and apps.
