Indeed, I asked her to install Tex-Edit Plus. But I do the tutorials because she asked me to, kind of a university community service effort to support our Mac users on campus. I'm doing some kind of tutorial about the Mac about once every two weeks, on average. I don't feel one bit bad about requesting an application be installed to do one of these sessions.

I think Tex-Edit Plus is a fine choice, thanks.
