Hi list,


I am working on this fax program and need some help.

To be able to send out faxes I need to get /etc/ttys from hanging the modem. ( the mac is receiving faxes permanentely)

Basically what I need to do is:

Open system preferences and untick the box under > print and fax > faxing > "Receive faxes on this computer"...

This action changes a line in /etc/ttys

I would like to read your comments on this....

How would you approach the question?
