Photoshop Apple Event timeouts...

I'm writing a script to automate the implementation of a filter that
is not part of photoshop so I call it as an action. In the action
I've told it to open the dialog box for the filter because It's a
chromakey filter. I need to work on the mask in the filter and then
apply the filter and have the script continue but while I'm editing
the mask in the filter the script recieves a time out failure from
Apple Events. Since I'm in germany and this is a work laptop my
errors are in german too... Any help changing the timeout length to
something like 10 mins or more would be helpfull because the script
is a loop and i need to run this process on every file in a directory.
