The 'say' command takes an optional 'saving to' parameter. Provide an alias reference, file reference or path string. It will create an AIFF file of the spoken text, which you can play in QuickTime Player or incorporate into a movie.

In other words, do provide the "saving to" parameter with the ".aiff" extension.
