That might go further back - I'll check when I get to 10.2 in my "backwards
journey in time". In 10.3.9, I colored files using Finder labels to keep
track of what got replaced, and multiple files - both directly via 'every
item' and also when first set to a list variable - did got copied, all of
them, although the result displayed in Script Editor referred only to one
file (unlike when you copied the multiple files none of which were replacing
any - then they all got listed in the result). I'm doing it by repeat loop
in Panther - each item individually - and they all do copy with replacing,
including folders, again proved via labeled files and folders.

Aha - I remember he used to visit here, yes. Good to know. Maybe we could
even prevail upon Dave - if he's still here - to let us know what else got
fixed and added in Tiger Finder scripting.
