Luther, not commenting on your particular bug, but as a possible way to
achieve running a specific application (bundle, in your case) in response to
some folder action...

What about a folder action script that queued target items to a (text,
plist, xml) file, and then a script [or your bundle] that monitored that
file (or read it at specific times), operating on the items it found there?

An action queue?
