No problem; the fact is we used the shell to copy automatically photos from a CF card during our work (we’re photographers).
In some cases, we need the newest pictures to be processed first (when beaming all of them on a big screen, for example) and in some other cases, we need them to be processed chronologically (when printing contact sheets, where the photos have to be in the right order). That’s why.
What I’ll be doing is copying the files in the order we can define and then moving the copied file into another app’s hot folder once the copy is done. So now you know ;-)
