Images and PDFs have a "graphic layer option" property that returns a
reference to the image/PDF's "graphic layer options" object; this object
contains the "update link option" property, plus it has "graphic layer"
elements. These graphic layers can contain further graphic layers, although
building a list of them recursively is problematic because of problems with
object references to them.
