Or you can consider using also an osax such as XMail, that is free,
open-source and easy to use. XMail also supports many options
allowing you to be in control of many parameters when sending your
mail (timeout, smtp port, smtp host, encryption level,…)
You can download & read about XMail here : <http://lestang.org/

You can have a look to the dictionary here : <http://www.satimage.fr/

Hello,
Are there any AppleScript experts that can offer any suggestions/
comments on
what I might be doing wrong as it relates to my AppleScript
(below) please?
My objective is to send a Microsoft Entourage eMail via
AppleScript utilizing
FileMaker 8 Advanced script function "Send Mail." The problem is that
FileMaker seems to only want to place the eMail in Entourage's
Draft box,
instead of actually sending it.
You are saying two different things. You say you want to use
applescript.
And you say you want to use the FileMaker-native Send Mail command.
They are
mutually exclusive.
And you're not doing anything wrong. That's the way Entourage works
- Send
Maii puts messages in the draft folder. You're going to have to add a
command to get the draft message sent.
