Yes, and you've already emailed me off-list about this previously; your
eagerness to push a commercial solution that costs $100-500 when a free
one exists makes your repeated claims (in that other email and this one)
that you don't have any incentive to push REALBasic a little suspect.

Regardless, Paul's explanation of the future path for VB and Applescript
support in Excel and the pointer to the MS Applescript guide make me
confident that I can achieve what I want going that route, so I'll be
downloading that guide and trying it out soon.  I'll post back to the
list about how easy it turns out to be.  Thanks to everyone for their
(non-commercial) advice.
