Yes the script seems to be working just fine, the files copy wicked fast, but the finder doesn't update.

It checks the folders every 30 seconds

You can actually see the file copy to the local directory, then get deleted in real time. What we can't see is when a new file is dropped into the network folder externally. It just doesn't appear in the user interface, which is irking the users. Did I mention it doesn't happen if I use the Finder's duplicate and delete commands (which simply moves them to the trash, which is no good).
Maybe what I need it a way to cause the Finder to actually update. For some reason the update command just doesn't do it.
