I don't think I tested it that way. I wrote a script to test for transaction
support in any app a long time ago, but I don't have time to check whether I
ever posted it anywhere. I think I did, and I know I still have it around
here somewhere. But I had to hard wire some tests that would cause it to
miss apps that used different techniques. But I never heard of any.
I've written a demo app that implements every Standard Suite verb in a Core
Data app on Mac OS X, but it doesn't support transactions. I do plan to add
transactions, as soon as I have time....
My belief is that Mac OS X does allow you to support transactions, but I
don't know of any that do it -- except for the reference to VOODOO
something that was mentioned in this thread, which I don't have time to
check out.
