Title: Speed of folder content -panther versus tiger
Hi guys,

I have a script an it works great ... In panther.

My problem is that I have an image structure with about 1000 image per folder.

When clicking on the volume/folder panther shows the content in 5 sec. But tiger shows it in 1 minute.... Is this a spotlight issue?

I disabled spotlight using the terminal and Modified the /etc/hostconfig file
Spotlight –NO-

But no difference...

Any idea’s are much appreciated
Jan
