Not only is this provided, it is far preferable to use if it's
available. "Print to PDF" is just capturing printing commands in a PDF
file, and FileMaker is *very* inefficient with its printing - it
downloads fonts and images and other resources every time it needs them.


You can literally go from a 300MB PDF file via "print to PDF" to a 2MB
file exported directly from FileMaker's own PDF export functions and see
no difference in quality. In the latter case, FileMaker is trying to be
smart about what it embeds in the file. In the former case, it's not.
