I apologize to readers if this is not an AppleScript issue--but I think
that it is:

I have now Tiger (OSX 10.4.3) installed single partition with OS 9.2.1.

The Folder Actions I've attached to folders prior to this installation
do not work now (a situation that I kind of understand).
Yet I can not remove the actions from the concerned folders--not by
contextual menu, nor by Folder Actions Setup application; whether
Classic is running or not.

If anyone can offer an explanation that would help me to get rid of
these dysfunctional Folder Attachments, (now manifest as meaningless
folder-and-script-symbol icons), I would be grateful.

TYIA, Leo

Hello

If I remember well, under Mas OS 9.x, the folder must be open to get folder action script to work.
I used a third party extension to get rid of this feature.

If you didn't install this extension, try to oppen the folder.
