Title: Get file path via textfile or directly on volume
Hi,

I am working on a script which replaces the images path in quark. So far so good.

What would be the best way to ‘get’ the image path? (in the mounted volume IMAGE_SERVER)
The script should only look in the specific mounted volume called “IMAGE_SERVER”

This is for example the original path:
"jbultere:Page:F87081.low"
I should get a return like this
IMAGE_SERVER
:Folder80000_90000:F87081.low

The IMAGE_SERVER has 50.000 images and I wonder if it wise to let the script look directly in this deep structure?
Structure is:
IMAGE_SERVER:Folder00000_10000
IMAGE_SERVER:Folder10001_20000
.....

Maybe it is not better to create a textfile and let the script find the info in there? (just for the speed)

Any help is much appreciated
jan
