The easiest way to use it is to stick it in the Dock and then drag stuff onto it.

I never did work out how to get anything other than .cpgz out of it though :-(

I don't remember who gave me the syntax, but
this one is OK to zip the file nDoc

do shell script "gzip " & quoted form of POSIX path of nDoc


while this one is OK to expand the zip file whose path is cheminXMLgz

do shell script "gunzip " & quoted form of POSIX path of cheminXMLgz
