After fixing the parentheses, it works for me too, but what is that "T"
doing between the date and the time? It's there on my system too.

The official ISO 8601 time spec requires the T there between the date and time in a combined representation; spaces aren't allowed. (The usual handwave there is to say that the date and time are actually separate values, each one encoded according to the spec, rather than a single value so encoded.) -- Mark J.
