Yeah, I noticed that TextCommands is an FBA. What motivated the
decision to do it that way? I like the choice because it provides a
clear separation - easier to tell which commands are which (always
assuming the programmer doesn't just put the whole script in one giant
tell application "Text Commands" block, anyway).

Not yet; just been busy with other stuff recently. I'll try to get in
an update sometime over the next few weeks. (BTW, since TC's an
application, not an osax, the current version works fine on Intel
Macs; it's just a bit slower than if it were native.)
