No, you were being a pain in the ass.
But as Dennis noted, it's not acceptable to use a list members name
in the context I did, and I apologize sincerely for that.
I'm, obviously, not above teasing you for being so fond of Tcl, or
teasing certain other unnamed list members for being equally fond
of Python, but it is 100% good-natured teasing on my part, meant
only in jest.
Once a year ok. Otherwise it gets to be like a pesky mosquito and my
tendency is to kill it. Some folks might take your server down instead.
And I might mention that I've suggested elsewhere that both
CoreFoundation and Tcl developers take a serious look at the
descriptorType field of an AEDesc (and what follows from its
implemtation). For OS X the benefits of that in CoreFoundation for
Carbon, Cocoa (toll free bridging), and AppleEvents, and all
related technologies would be huge.
OK, now you've lost me. If you could expound upon this idea
further, possibly offlist, or point me at a previous exposition on
the topic, I'd appreciate it.
I'll have something for you and the other list members who made the
same request off-list sometime tomorrow. I have to retrieve the
message from a few months ago and then review/augment it for this
purpose.
