FileMaker/AppleScript interactions: Get(LastError)

  • Subject: FileMaker/AppleScript interactions: Get(LastError)

If I run a FileMaker Script that calls the "Perform AppleScript" step with Error Capture turned off FileMaker suppresses dialog boxes reporting AppleScript errors but Get(LastError) returns 0 (i.e. no error).

Is this the normal behaviour? Is there any reasonable way to capture an AppleScript error via a FileMaker script?
