I have a script that creates a text file from Filemaker then uses Curl within a scripted terminal session to deliver the text file to an FTP site.

The weird part is that it works fine with several sites but one site. When I attempt to send to that one site the script locks up. Script Debugger won't respond although when you open up the Force Quit box it doesn't say it's not responding. Same with Script Editor. You can't even get the script window to come forward. The only option is to force quit. You can wrap the line that sends the subroutine to do the Curl with a Try and nothing popups up. Still locks up after creating the first text file to send.

I'm afraid to test it inside a Filemaker Script to run because it might lock up Filemaker.

There's a zillion options for curl. So it's kinda difficult to guess what you have or haven't accounted for. However, I can tell you I've been thru serious grief when PASV wasn't set for a particularly ornery billy box server.
